LSE Generate ranked among top ten leading start-up hubs in Europe
LSE Generate, the School’s home for entrepreneurship, has secured a prestigious sixth place ranking among Europe’s top 125 Leading Start-Up Hubs. Emerging as the top British university in-house incubator, this achievement underscores the School’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurial excellence.
The accolade, bestowed after a rigorous analysis by Statista, The Financial Times, and Sifted, places LSE Generate at the forefront of Europe’s start-up scene. Over 2000 organisations were eligible for the recognition, with each hub assessed based on alumni feedback, the track record of its successful start-ups, and recommendations by external experts.
Alumni satisfaction was the most significant factor in determining the rankings, highlighting the positive experiences and successes of graduates of LSE Generate. Alumni were given the opportunity to rate six core aspects of the hub’s programmes: mentoring and training, infrastructure, legal assistance, funding, networking, and business development advice.
Commenting on the achievement, LJ Silverman, Head of LSE Generate, said: “Ranking among Europe’s top ten start-up hubs and as the top British University is a testament to LSE’s commitment to entrepreneurial excellence and most importantly, our vibrant entrepreneurial community.
“I’m delighted that this most recent success highlights the transformative impact of our programmes offered to our students, alumni and the broader ecosystem here in the UK and beyond. At LSE Generate, we empower innovators to thrive and lead on the global stage and this accolade reaffirms our position as a catalyst for entrepreneurial success and much-needed social innovation.”
This recognition reaffirms LSE Generate’s commitment to providing comprehensive support and resources to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
With a focus on empowering budding entrepreneurs through tailored programmes and extensive support networks, LSE Generate distinguishes itself amid Europe’s start-up community. Beyond rankings, the hub remains dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and growth within the entrepreneurial community.
