Surprising Christmas market is named the best in the UK – not Edinburgh or Bath

The weather is turning and the festive season is fast approaching with less than a month to go until the big day.

Christmas markets always make the run-up to Christmas feel extra special, and the UK is home to some of the best in the world.

Refreshing and updating their findings from previous years, the team at Christmas Tree World have revealed the must-visit markets for 2024.

The team looked at factors including the duration of each market, number of Instagram and TikTok posts, annual search volumes, average nightly price of nearby hotels and the proximity to each city’s central train station.

One particular market that topped the list is the longest-running markets in the country, lasting for a total of 54 days.
