British Fashion Awards 2024 Red Carpet: The Best Looks
The British Fashion Awards have me so excited about the upcoming red carpet season. Celebrities like Rihanna, Julia Fox, and Rita Ora absolutely delivered at the 2024 ceremony, which took place in London on Monday, December 2. I’m not saying the 2024 red carpet season was boring, but the looks at the Fashion Awards—which are held to celebrate the British fashion industry—made my heart skip a beat. I’m talking non-traditional dresses, eye-catching accessories, and out-of-the-box glam. Our favorite stars really took it there, and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Rihanna, who attended the soirée with boyfriend ASAP Rocky—who will receive the Cultural Innovator Award—was flirty and fun in archival Christian Lacroix. Her look included a fluffy blue wide-brimmed hat, which she paired with a matching fur shawl that was buttoned at the waist, exposing a black bustier dress. She topped the ensemble off with sheer tights, pointed-toe heels and black leather ballroom gloves. Gagged! Rocky, for his part, let his lady shine, opting for a demure navy blue ensemble with a red tie.
Fox, meanwhile, always pushes boundaries and her outfit on Monday was no different. She arrived in a sheer skintight corset dress that featured visible boning and lining, giving an undone feel. She continued the bold theme with ghostly makeup and wet hair. Ora also turned heads, ditching her usual sexy style for an oversized suit with sharp shoulders and baggy pants. She packed on the accessories, rocking thick metallic bracelets and dangling earrings. For glam, she went with bleached brows and a platinum pixie cut.
