Champions Day Trends 2024: Stats For All Ascot Races

Use our British Champions Day trends ahead of the 2024 meeting this Saturday to help find the best horse profiles based on past winners. These stats will cover ALL six races on Champions Day this weekend – including the Champion Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

Champions Day Trends For Ascot 2024: Stats For All SIX Races

A star-studded equine cast will be heading to Ascot racecourse this Saturday for the 2024 edition of British Champions Day.

The lucrative meeting will see the horses competing for £2.3m in winner’s prize money, with one of the big names on show Economics, who is the big favourite with the best horse racing betting sites in the UK to win the Champion Stakes at 3:55pm.

Heading into Champions Day, top Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien will also be looking for his first winner at the meeting since 2019 – he’s had 28 horses lose at the fixture since.

However, O’Brien could end this dry spell in the very first race (Long Distance Cup) though as his prolific stayer Kyprios is all the rage with the best betting sites to go one better than his close second 12 months ago.

In order to help you find the winners of ALL six races, we’ve got all the key Champions Day trends to apply to each contest.

These will highlight interesting horse racing stats that have built up over the years – including the top draws, ages and what trainers have the best records in certain races.

For example, one of the main Champions Day trends in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, tells us that since 1988 there have only been two filly or mare winners.

While in the final race – the Balmoral Handicap – there is another of the Champions Day trends that showcases trainer David O’Meara has won three of the last 10 runnings.
