County Durham farm shop ‘well worth a visit’ revealed among UK’s best

Hutchinson Hobbs Farm Shop and Butcher in Stockton-on-Tees was praised for its variety of food on offer and its meat which is “smoked on site”.

Plus, customers have said it’s “well worth a visit”.

Commenting on its guide, the publisher wrote: “What do you think of when it comes to British farm shops? Besides homemade pies, freshly-picked veg and family-run butcher counters and creameries, many have delis, smokehouses and cosy cafés attached.

“Some fancier farms have their own microbreweries or private swimming lakes to make the journey even more worth it.

The publisher revealed: “Hutchinson Hobbs sells produce from more than a hundred local suppliers.

“There are homemade pies and ready meals along with deli goodies, including coleslaw, salads, soups and quiches.
