Dates you need to order from top UK brands for Christmas presents to arrive on time

However, several of the UK’s top brands have now released cut-off dates for orders to guarantee they arrive before December 25.

To avoid disappointment on Christmas, if you are eyeing up any potential gifts from the following retailer, be sure to get your orders in with time to spare.

  • Adidas: For standard home delivery, order before December 19. For delivery express, you have until December 21
  • Amazon: The cut-off for Prime deliveries is December 23
  • ASOS: For standard delivery, order before December 20. For fastest delivery, you have until December 23
  • Boots: For standard delivery, you have until December 21. For next-day delivery, order before December 23
  • Dunelm: The cut-off for standard delivery is December 19. Customers have until December 22 to order with express delivery
  • JD Sports: The sports store is offering three kinds of delivery options, with the cut-off for standard delivery being December 18, for express delivery, December 20 and for next day delivery, December 21. They are offering Click and Collect options until Christmas Eve
  • John Lewis: The last day for standard delivery is December 19, however, you have until Christmas Eve for Click and Collect orders
  • LEGO: The cut-off for standard delivery is December 19. For express delivery, be sure to order before December 20
  • Next: You have until December 22 at 8pm for home delivery, or December 23 at 1pm for in-store collection
  • The Entertainer: Order before December 18 for standard delivery, or December 20 for express delivery
  • The Perfume Shop: For standard delivery, you have until December 20. For express delivery, be sure to order before December 22 at 9pm

Dan Evans, a Consumer Expert at www.hotukdeals.com who complied the list of deadlines, said: “Christmas shopping can be a stressful time, especially when you’re juggling busy schedules and trying to find the perfect gifts.”

However, the West Midlands is home to several bustling high streets, town centres and shopping centres that have adjusted their opening hours for the busy Christmas period. 

If you prefer doing your Christmas shopping in person, the likes of Merry Hill Shopping Centre and Birmingham’ Bullring Shopping Centre will be open until 10pm Monday to Friday from December 16 until December 22.

Whether shopping online or in person, make sure you do not leave it too late!
