England captain Heather Knight speaking to Sky Sports: “The way Danni has been batting she was definitely due a score so I am really pleased for her.

“There’s some areas we can do better but we have had performance from most people this series.

“Pakistan put us under pressure with the bat which is good to see. But we stayed calm, wrestled back momentum and put pressure back on our opponent so really pleased with the way we reacted.”

On Lauren Filer’s performance: “She is a point of difference for us. She is quick and hits the pitch hard so I am really pleased for her as she has been working hard behind the scenes.”

On preparations for the T20 World Cup: “We are tracking well. There’s always things we can do better but we are moving forward as a side. There’s a few things we can tune up but lots of people are putting in performance and those not in the side are pushing too.”

On the upcoming ODI series: “We haven’t played a huge amount of ODI cricket recently so pleased to play a bit more more. It is an area we want to get better at as we haven’t played a huge amount and it is good to work on the basics.”
