FanDuel Casino Crowns $1 Million Jackpot Winner

FanDuel Casino has their $1 million Jackpot Summer Sweepstakes winner – a 62-year-old man, one of over 100,000 eligible customers.

FanDuel Casino, a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc, ran the promotion from July 1 to September 1, and required players to bet $50+ from 7/1-9/1 on selected slot games to gain an entry to the sweepstakes.

Agostino Limongelli was crowned the millionaire winner. Players in Connecticut, as well as New Jersey, Philadelphia, Michigan, and West Virginia were eligible for the promotion.

Call From Vegas Matt

Limongelli was notified of winning the prize via a FaceTime call with FanDuel Casino ambassador Vegas Matt. 

FanDuel announced earlier this year they had signed Vegas Matt in a long-term deal where he is acting as an ambassador, a deal which will include social media content, promotional offers, branding, educating players on casino games and messaging on the importance of responsible play. Vegas Matt has over 340,000 YouTube subscribers, and over 277,000 Instagram followers.

Vegas Matt spoke with Agostino about what he plans to do with the money, and they talked about the excitement about winning the prize. Limongelli told Vegas Matt he wants to buy a car, and go on vacation.
