‘First of its kind’ Liverpool gym named best in England

The gym has been on a winning streak with awards this year

Dale Street’s Limitless Lifestyle gym has won several awards in months

Liverpool is home to one of the best gyms in England. Limitless Lifestyle Community, which describes itself as a first of its kind, was named the Best Health and Fitness venue at England’s Business Awards.

The city centre gym, located on Dale Street, is just over a year old but has already made an impact within Liverpool. The company offers unlimited personal training, a 24/7 support group, nutrition plans, stretching classes, circuits, massage treatments, and a wellness café.

Earlier this summer, the team attended the regional England Business Awards at the Mercury Manchester Piccadilly Hotel. From the shortlist of businesses throughout the region, they were named the region’s best. However, on Sunday, November 17, the gym continued its winning streak as it was given the national title and crowned best in the country.

Alex, a former bartender who lives in Halewood, told the ECHO: “It was incredible to celebrate the success of the amazing community we’ve built and the mission we’re on to revolutionise the personal training industry.

“We couldn’t have accepted this award with a better group of people cheering us on. With over 600 people at the event, Team Limitless was the biggest, loudest, and proudest, representing Liverpool in style. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team. The future is bright, and we’re ready to show England what Limitless is all about.”

The owners, Alex Sloan and Levi Osborne, hope their “360-degree approach” offers members “ongoing sustainable change rather than a quick fix”.

The gym members have also bonded outside the four walls of Dale Street. They have been on retreats, attended various community events, gone on numerous hikes across the UK, and run multiple half marathons. Members have also embarked upon the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge and a parachute jump, raising over £8,500 in total for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Since opening in June 2023, membership has increased from 27 members to 80 members — with five full-time employed personal trainers.

Levi Osborne added: “We’ve created an amazing community here at Limitless, and we’ve taken personal training to the next level — it’s something we’re extremely proud of. This award is a testament to how far we’ve come in such a short space of time, and we have big plans to kick on from here and grow this concept throughout the country.”
