Jet2 slashes holidays by £200 and flights by 20% in January sale

Searching for the best Jet2 deals? You have come to the right place! The popular UK airline and travel operator has kicked off 2025 with its latest sale and there are plenty of savings on offer for flights and holidays spanning the winter months and into spring and summer. 

We’ve rounded up some of the biggest savings and discounts on flights and accommodation as part of the January sale below. Jet2 and Jet2holidays have some extra special sales this January for those who have a MyJet2 account. We’ve got all of the latest information below, but if you’re short on time, Express.co.uk has created a quick list of some of the cheapest Jet2 and Jet2holidays deals and discounts:

Jet2 has kicked off the January sales with 20% off all flights, however, there is a catch. To access the offer you will need to be signed up for a MyJet2 account.

Right now, as part of its January sales event, Jet2holidays is offering as much as £200 off all holidays for those with a myJet2 account. The offer includes winter holidays from just £229 per person when travelling to select destinations.

The savings work out at a saving of £100 per person off each holiday, meaning couples can save £200 off their next Jet2holiday.

Jet2holidays has a huge selection of self-catered, half-board, full board and all-inclusive holidays to suit all types of holidaymakers. And if you’re looking for a deal in the coming weeks, you might even be able to make a saving.

Jet2holidays has “hundreds of thousands” of free child places available as part of its package holiday offering.

The offer means that when two full-paying passengers book a room, one child can holiday for no extra cost – they can fly, pack their favourite toys, enjoy return hotel transfers, stay and play for free.

Simply search the Jet2holidays website, and use the free child place finder tool to pick a date and hotel that suits you. And even if you find a deal in the current offers from Jet2, free child’s places are compatible 

Free Child places are subject to availability and are only applicable on selected accommodations, departure dates, departure points, room types and board basis. A deposit is also required on each child’s place, and will be deducted from the final holiday invoice.

As part of its big January sale, Jet2CityBreaks is offering customers city break package holiday deal, with discounts of up to £200 per person. However, like the rest of the sale, customers can only access the deal when booking via a MyJet2 account.

Jet2CityBreaks offers customers flights, handpicked hotels, a 22kg checked bag and 10kg hand luggage item as well as ATOL protection. And all of this can be scooped up for a £60pp deposit.

For those who would prefer all the perks of a package holiday but with a villa holiday stay, Jet2holiday’s dedicated villas arm, Jet2Villas, offers just that. And right now, as part of its Big January Sale, Jet2Villas is offering savings of up to £100 per person for select group bookings with a MyJet2 account. For groups of six, that’s a massive saving of £600!

Holidaymakers can enjoy the full package, a £60 per person deposit, as well as 22kg of baggage, 10kg of hand luggage and great flight times. Car hire can also be included.

Jet2 and Jet2holidays run an array of special offers for myJet2 customers who book through the app. Right now this means being able to make the most of Jet2’s Big January Sale. 

The app allows customers to search, book and manage their ATOL-protected package holidays and flights in one place. 

However, the discounts, like others promoted on the app, are subject to terms and conditions and won’t be around forever.

Customers will be able to upload and access all of their documents easily within the app even when offline and can enjoy flying paper free.

One of the best ways to save money on your next Jet2 holiday is by ensuring you fully understand their luggage fees. Make sure that your bag fits the weight and size specifications allocated to your ticket type before travelling. • Customers who arrive at the airport with bags that exceed their allocated weight allowance will be charged £12 per additional kg of baggage
• Customers who want to check in an additional item at the airport on the day of departure will need to pay a fee of £45 per item, plus any applicable excess baggage fees

Like most airlines, Jet2 has a luggage policy which, if not followed, may incur an excess baggage fee.

Jet2’s hand luggage policy

All passengers are permitted to carry on board one piece of hand luggage free of charge, as long as it weighs no more than 10kg and is no larger than 56 x 45 x 25cm, including any wheels and handles.

If your hand luggage weighs more or is larger than this, it will need to be checked into the aircraft hold, and you may have to pay an additional charge.

All passengers can also bring one small, personal item on board (such as a handbag, laptop bag or airport purchase), as long as it is placed underneath the seat in front of you.

Jet2’s checked luggage policy

All customers travelling on a Jet2 package holiday are permitted to bring one 22kg item of hold luggage with them. However, passengers on a flight-only booking will need to pay for any checked luggage they hope to bring upfront.

Passengers who arrive at the airport with additional luggage which is not included in their booking, or has not been pre-booked, will need to pay for this at check-in. This may also include fees for any excess luggage.
