The farm shop in Warrington that has been named as one of the best in Britain

Kenyon Hall Farm has made a list of the 35 best farm shops compiled by The Times.

And it is the only one in Cheshire to do so.

“Kenyon Hall Farm has been worked on by the same family since about 1500. Tod and Barbara Bulmer, the custodians, are supported by their two sons, who run a farm shop and café, promoting many northwest producers as well as their own goods, including gins, jams and preserves. Oil is pressed from their fields of rapeseed and honey comes from their hives,” the article on The Times reads.

The team at Kenyon Hall Farm, which is located in Croft, say they are ‘thrilled’ with the news.

It isn’t the first time that the family-run farm has received such recognition.

Last year, it was named as one of the best farm shops in the UK by The Telegraph who selected just 14 of the best stores.

It recognised Kenyon Hall Farm for the variety of activities it offers – including fruit and sunflower picking as ell as a giant maize maze.

The farm is also well known in Warrington and afar for its popular pumpkin patch with returns each autumn. This year, more than 20,000 people visited the patch.

Other farm shops on The Times’ list include ones in locations such as Oxfordshire, Kent, Devon, and Somerset.
